Roadtrip Bites - Syracuse, NY

A great part of a road trip is exploring new places and finding great places to eat.  Stopping in Syracuse, New York I found a gem called Darwin.

 

Darwin's is a small sandwich shop with limited seating and LOTS of flavor.  I ordered the "Hot Flash," a turkey breast sandwich with southern-fried green tomatoes, Hungarian peppers, lettuce and hot pepper mayo. (Under $10) It was fantastic but the game changer was the Buffalo Macaroni and Cheese side.

Darwin's is open for lunch and has seating for a small number of people.  Large groups or families may just want to place their orders for take out.
